SANUK ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

At Sanuk, we believe comfort should last. If you experience an issue with the quality or craftsmanship of your Sanuk footwear, we’re here to help.

 We offer a One (1) Year Limited Warranty from the original date of purchase on products bought directly from:

  • Sanuk.com
  • ‘Sanuk Official’ as the seller on Amazon.com (not third-party sellers)
  • Authorized Sanuk retailers

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship and applies to the original consumer owner only.

WHAT’S COVERED:

Sanuk footwear is eligible for warranty support if it exhibits one or more of the following issues within one year of purchase:

Sandals:

  • Sole or footbed delamination
  • Straps pulling out or separating (where soles are not excessively worn)
  • Stitching coming undone (on new/unused product)
  • Glue defects or visible glue residue (new product only)

Shoes:

  • Sole separating from the upper
  • Stitching unraveling on logo or seams
  • Broken or missing eyelets (not from misuse)

WHAT’S NOT COVERED:

The following conditions are not covered by the Sanuk warranty; products showing any of the below signs will not qualify:

  • Normal wear and tear from everyday use
  • General outsole wear, discoloration, or fading
  • Fraying straps or uppers due to long-term wear
  • Color, material, or pattern mismatches at the time of purchase 
  • Damage due to excessive heat - which can deform or degrade sole and material structure
  • Damage from water, chemicals, or improper cleaning (washing machines, solvents, etc.)
  • Cuts, burns, scratches, pet damage, or neglect
  • Sizing or fit issues after use
  • Products purchased from unauthorized retailers or third-party marketplaces
  • Gift card redemptions or items received via warranty replacement
  • Any product altered or modified by the customer

HOW TO SUBMIT A WARRANTY CLAIM:

To submit a claim, please email [email protected] and include the following:

  • Proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation)
  • Clear photo of the issue or damaged area
  • Photo of the full product
  • Photo of the Sanuk tag or label inside the product

 Our team will review your claim and respond within 5-7 business days. Approved claims will be issued as a Sanuk.com gift card equal to the value of the original item (excluding taxes and shipping). We do not offer cash refunds or product replacements. 

LEGAL NOTICE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary by state.

Any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this one-year express warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Under no circumstances shall Sanuk or its affiliates be liable for any incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages or losses including, but not limited to, loss of use, loss of comfort, or emotional distress caused by worn-out shoes (we feel you, but still). Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. 

Sanuk reserves the right to deny any claim that does not meet the warranty criteria and to modify this policy at any time without notice.
